Diamond grading is the process of evaluating a diamond's quality based on the 4Cs:
- Carat weight – The diamond’s weight, measured in carats.
- Cut – The precision of the diamond’s cut, affecting its brilliance.
- Color – The presence or absence of color in a diamond (graded from D (colorless) to Z (yellow/brown)).
- Clarity – The presence of internal or external imperfections (inclusions and blemishes).
